Like a winter morning when a familiar landscape suddenly appears unfamiliar under fresh snow, Innerscape begins with a shift in perception. As contours dissolve beneath a white surface, time seems suspended; in the muted air, subtle details and overlooked sensations quietly emerge.

This perceptual shift unfolds into a space that is both physical and psychological, inviting viewers to encounter an “inner landscape.” Through restrained use of media and scale, the work gently unsettles the balance of perception, where intimacy intersects with scientific observation and geographic imagination.

Delicate interventions—such as engraved glass and the subtle modulation of light—reconfigure the body’s sensory awareness of space. Tensions between fragment and whole, interior and exterior, open and closed, finite and infinite generate moments of illusion and visual ambiguity.

Innerscape moves beyond the representation of external scenery to propose an internal realm that traverses layers of sensation and perception. Within it, viewers experience not a fixed reality, but a subtly shifting and expanding field of awareness.
